She is A Winner of The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS Featured Artist Award.
Caroline Evans is an artist who lives in London, UK. She was born and raised in Thailand and states, “My love of painting started at an early age. I was fortunate to live in a world where Eastern mythology, Buddhism and its gentle beliefs were intertwined with fairy tales from the West; all paramount in moulding my life and my views on life.”
Her artwork was selected for the Manhattan Arts International “Hot Topics – Bold Expressions in Nature & Human Nature” 2015 online exhibition which I co-curated with James Bacchi, ArtHaus Gallery, in San Francisco, CA. We chose her “Facing My Fears” for the exhibition and to receive an Award of Excellence and also a “Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS Featured Artist Award.”

The artist has outstanding skills in drawing and mixed media. Through her narrative art she expresses many different sides of the human experience in a detailed, poetic style. She chooses her medium “depending on how I feel on the day and what I feel each painting needs. This varies from watercolour, ink, coloured pencil and graphite.”
I selected Caroline Evans to receive awards because of her outstanding art, authentic artistic vision, and her statement. When she submitted her entries for “Hot Topics” she wrote: “I view life through colour and with passion. As my creativity and intuition evolve, I strive to encourage people to find their own connection through the messages and visual stimulation I try to communicate. If even one piece of my art can do this, then I have achieved the world.”

She often creates art to convey an important message. “As my work evolves, certain of my pieces convey a deeper meaning behind them, which can be read under each description. I feel passionately about quite a few issues, not least the destruction we are wreaking upon our beautiful planet and the appalling cruelty that is inflicted daily on defenseless animals.”
About her artistic influences she reveals, “My work has been inspired through the years by a number of artists, namely Cicely Mary Barker, Brian Froud, Ed Org and Alphonse Mucha, to name a few.”

Caroline Evans’ art work has been exhibited and sold through galleries in Ireland and England. It is also featured on New Irish Art, which focuses on showcasing the work of Irish artists and Artists Info, an award-winning online gallery that represents artists from around the world. She also accepts commissions when time allows.
