Debbie A. Gregory, a member of the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design, asked me to share this information with artists.

The Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design is a group of Nurses and Design Professionals that believe in the power of design and healing. Its organization, The Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design (NIHD, is hosting an art auction this year at the HCD Conference. The proceeds from this art auction will go to nurses in healthcare design and for research on healing environments.

The NIHD Foundation Art Auction will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 during the NIHD Reception at the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo (HCD). Location of the conference will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, LA.

Artwork or handicrafts for this auction may be 2- or 3-dimensional, wearable, jewelry and/or houseware. Your art piece will be displayed at the NIHD Foundation’s Art Auction. You will receive a post-sale receipt for your financial and tax records.

The NIHD Foundation (NIHDF), a 501(C)3, is the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design’s (NIHD) fundraising arm.
The mission of NIHD is ‘To engage and integrate clinical expertise into the planning and design of Healthcare Environments.”

You will find more information and a participation form on this page https://nursingihd.com/blog-nihd/nihd-foundation-announces-art-auction
