Maureen McCabe’s Artist’s Statement: “My abstract paintings explore the synergies between light, space, and energy with textural layers and blended colors. Working in the healing arts field has influenced my artwork by allowing me to tap into my intuition, creating each piece meditatively. The connection between people, nature, and the universe inspires me. I use acrylic paint and a wide range of mediums to create a variety of unique textural qualities. I enjoy the mystery that unfolds as I create a painting, not knowing how it will end up while still trusting the process.”
Fascinating Facts About Maureen McCabe: “I worked in the television industry, then had a career change and started working in the Healing Arts as a Massage Therapist. I then saw a shift in the way I approach my artwork. I found the process of creating to be much more profound and intuitive.”
